History of Truman Athletics

Gary and Terry McCulley (THS '83) were commissioned to make a documentary on the history of athletics at Truman. Terry has posted the intro to that video on YouTube, and we thought you'd like to see Mr. Brown, Coach Allen, President and Mrs. Truman, and some neat photos. The full DVD is available through the Truman Booster Club.

WOW! What a great weekend (July 22 and 23, 2005) of activities. And the photos prove it. Thanks to all who came out to join in the fun. And for those who couldn't make it, we hope you can next time.

On Friday, we prepared for 70-80 classmates and friends to get reacquainted at the Fox and Hound in Independence. 150+ guests later we were all talking, carrying-on and lying like the good ol' days.

A few hours later a few classmates got together for a Saturday morning golf outing at Winterstone in Independence. Kurt Zorich fittingly shot an 85 to honor the Class of '85 while the heat index rose to 105.

It all culminated Saturday night as 130+ classmates and guests enjoyed a wonderful evening at the Hilton Garden Inn. Awards, jokes, stories, a slideshow, dancing and fond memories were shared amongst old – and new – friends.
