Hello everyone,
I just wanted to thank you all for your words of comfort this past week. It is still very difficult for the girls, Ashley 9, & Heather 5 and myself but with the Lord's help (and lots of grief counseling) we will make it through this difficult time.
If I may take a moment to share something with you, please. I've learned such a valuable lesson from my husband's death. We (as people) tend to think, "Oh, we have time" as we hurry through our busy lives. You never think at age thirty-seven that a massive heart attack can take away someone you love - at least I didn't. My husband was a simple man, easy to please, and his family meant more to him than anything. I guess what I am trying to say is, Please do not take the people you love and care about for granted - remember to tell them often what they mean to you, remember to do the little things for them that will make them smile because no one is promised a tomorrow and tomorrow may be to late. Try to live each day as if it may be your last and it is sure to make you a more humble, caring and loving person - I know from experience because this was the kind of man my husband was.
